About a 40-minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Taipei, the organic tea farm with the scene of green mountain and valley below the ridgeline is surrounded by mountains in Sanxia, New Taipei City and has an area of 168 hectares at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. It's a secret place with extreme beauty that makes people in Taipei A ambition ──"Xiang tea Garden, which makes the Taipei people longing for a visit- "Xiong Kong Tea Plantation".

 

Under the careful management and operation of Taiwan Tea Corporation, Xiong Kong, which is as big as 7 Daan Forest Park, has different scenes changing with four seasons visitors can come for admiring totally different views of the beautiful scenery, for example: in spring, there are peach blossom growing everywhere in the park, planted peach blossoms, Taiwan cherry blossoms dance with the spring breeze, a scene of blooming beauty; in summer, the greenery of all creatures that are reborn from the nature, occasionally, visitors can see butterfly emergence, dragon flies skimming over water, and fireflies give off light in the starry sky at night; moreover, there are abundant ecology of tree frogs, unicorn beetle, and Formosan Macaque; in autumn, under the random creation by the red maples,  the mountain scenery is added with infinite atmosphere of poetry; at the end of the year in cold winter, the scenery varies from minute to minute, sometimes, people can bathe all day with warmth and happiness, sometimes, the surprising snow on the mountaintop comes along with the cold current.





In Xiong Kong, in addition to the experience of the tranquil beauty of nature every moment, visitors can also fully admire the passion and the dedication that Taiwan Tea Corporation has constantly committed to maintaining the excellent ecological environment.  The eco-organic tea farm has adopted natural farming in the restoration of farmlands so as to make each tea tree here growing naturally in the environment with the absence of chemical fertilizer and pesticide. We've abandoned mechanization, the operations from seedling, fertilization, deworming, and weeding to harvesting are done by manpower in the hope to deeply root the concept of "Be organic, that's much better!" in people's mind! Also, because of the entire organic cultivation process under the food chain cycles, Xiong Kong has kept the most primitive beauty of the mountain and forest; additionally, the land has given feedback with the most natural and healthy crops- organic Biluochun Green Tea, organic Oolong Tea, and organic Mixiang Black Tea, all features pure quality and has obtained Tse-Xin Organic certification. In particular, the tea aroma diffuses an elegant fragrance and has a sweet after taste that makes every consumer enjoy a drink of good tea, natural, clean, and pure.



 

Moreover, in the late spring and early summer, visitors can enjoy the season of red-fleshed plum and use the thick flesh with a unique aroma to make the organic plum marinade, plum sauce, and plum vinegar that taste unique and great; they are the popular seasonal products here. The organic vegetables that are freshly harvested from mountain taste sweet and pleasant. It's recommended to buy some vegetables before going down the mountain for home to make the trip rewarding!

【Considerate Reminder】
1. For those who want to enter the farm, please purchase the entry ticket at the counter of the service center. Per entry ticket is priced at NT $100. (Children under 120 cm and people with disabilities who present their identification cards can be approved for free entry.) The cost of a ticket is deductible in all purchases of products, but it's not deductible in the payment of foods, meals, and beverage; also, it cannot be redeemed for cash, and no change can be refunded.
2.Plastic bags are not available in the farm. Please bring your eco-friendly reusable bags for shopping.
3.Pets entering the organic farm areas (tea farm, fruit farm, vegetable farm, and Kueichulin) need to be kept on a leash, and please be aware that pets are not allowed to run in the farm; the area of Japanese Cedar is not subject to this limitation.
4. There's a ban on outside food; no fire is allowed in the park area, and no use of the gas stoves and other cooking utensils.
5. In order to maintain the air quality, smoking is prohibited at each platform and tourist gatherings spots in the park area.
6. Protect the mountain and forest environment, do not litter and please take your waste that is not generated by the goods sold in the park area away from the mountain.

Traffic Information

1. Exit from AnKeng Southbound Interchange on National Freeway No.3, go toward Ankeng, go past Ankang Road, Ankeng Road, and Chengfu Road; then, turn left at Taiwan Youni Gas Station to connect Zhulun Road. Go past Taiwan Tea Corporation North District Refinery Factory and go about 10 km further to reach the destination. 

2. Exit from Sanxia Northbound Interchange on National Freeway No.3, go toward Sanxia, go past Fuxing Road and Sec.1, Jieshou Road; then, make a right turn at the junction of three roads in Hengxi to connect Xidong Road that connects Zhulun Road. Go past Taiwan Tea Corporation North Refinery Factory and go about 10 km further to reach the destination.
